HEAR RICHARD MAINWAY'S MUSIC ON MYSPACEThis is the first acoustic album of Richard Mainway, a singer-songwriter-guitarist in East Brunswick, NJ who also fronts the central NJ rock band "Terminal Breakdown." 11 passionate original songs about love and life PLUS extraordinary renditions of "You Know You're Right" by Nirvana and "Wonderwall" by Oasis AND one bonus track. He wrote the original songs on this album when he was 15 and recorded them in 2009 when he was 16. Rich combines excellent instrumental skills with authentic love-affirming expressions of emotion to create songs that hook you and stay with you. Rich describes it this way: "If Bob Dylan played grunge or if Kurt Cobain played folk, that is what I was aiming for on this album." As an admirer of Kurt Cobain, Richard Mainway was deeply honored to be granted permission by the Cobain estate to cover his song "You Know You're Right" which is one of the standout gems on this CD.
